Soliloquy For William Whitted

I shame you,
not because you are weak,
but because you are strong.
Somebody hurt you,
and that was wrong.
But they saw nothing,
and you see everything.
To have that vision,
to see the atoms,
and give up?
I spit on you.
You are weak.
and strength,
the strength of mind,
that might save us!,
You took for granted.
It was hard,
and you quit on yourself,
And you, were, weak.
Do not blame the tide,

if you refuse to swim.
