My fellow man

I cannot suffer and die for you,
I need my life,
my love.

You will have to find your wisdom,
your war,
and your waste,
in another place.

The great bards of old
have foretold
of the downfall of all.

I agree,
of course,
it is simple logic.

The world will fall.
But when it does,
I intend to be in love.

A father,
or grandfather,
with my wishes fulfilled.

Backlit

Regret is like a shadow,
a pall chasing current light.
It feeds on loss and sorrow,
overpowers joy with blight.

Never will it cease to chase,
until it is cut with the sword.
That means,
acceptance of one's penance,
and resolute movement forward.

Pain and sorrow stalk us,
every moment of our lives.
It's up to every man and child,
to stand against the tide.

Soliloquy For William Whitted

I shame you,
not because you are weak,
but because you are strong.
Somebody hurt you,
and that was wrong.
But they saw nothing,
and you see everything.
To have that vision,
to see the atoms,
and give up?
I spit on you.
You are weak.
and strength,
the strength of mind,
that might save us!,
You took for granted.
It was hard,
and you quit on yourself,
And you, were, weak.
Do not blame the tide,

if you refuse to swim.

Idle time

So why would you think this is the way to be healthy?
I see you wanna build bridges,
 get rich and be wealthy.

But I try,
I try to talk to you,
to make you see,
There aint nothing takes the place of L.I.F.E.

I’ll never know the reason why the weak won’t walk,
They sit back and play the station and they talk the talk,
But wishes ain’t fishes and without food you starve.
Poor scrape by in prosperity, but in adversity its hard.

You see, people don’t equate poverty with death,
Their spoiled brains are boiled from advertisers breath.
But the past 200 years,
They’re an anomaly.

Take it from me,
You can conquer many things.

But never history.
