Dissent bubbles up

I’m running so fast,
but I can never catch up.
It’s like I just keep applying,
but I can’t get in the club.

Because my mind is small,
 and their waters run deep,
Because they’re wearing Gucci
and my threads is cheap.
I'll have no rest,
and I'll have no sleep.

So, I keep on running
and think to myself,
damn I wish my life was like something else.
Cause, I’m swimming all day
 just to barely stay afloat.
While, super powered barons
 sit safely in boats.

Well my muscles are tired
 and it might be wrong,
But, I think I can capsize them
'cause I know I’m strong.
Then rules are imposed,
just to keep me in line.
But obeying those rules,
just proves one to be blind.

I see no problem with wealth
so long as it does not enslave,
But the wise men who rule me
watch me sink beneath the waves.

So what happens then,
when a fair system isn’t fair at all?
Do you follow the rules?
Will you meekly fall?
Or do you fight the system,
and incur its wrath?
Or do you rise from within,
and join in the blood bath.

And if you aren’t so strong,
 what then do you do?
Shall your children dig ditches
like the other wretches too?

Competition is natural,
as is privation and death,
but the bitterness is growing,
each time I draw breath.

So look down while you can,
you elite of man,
you see not the fate of myself,

but the fate of your land.

To surrender is to be blind

Third eye open again,
Mind to body to word to pen.
When can life have meaning for all?
When the face of God removes the black pall.

There’s a black cloud hanging,
and many are blind.
The rot smell is spreading,
the weak are left behind.

Now it’s time to act,
Now it’s time to feel.
Now numbness is a fact,
Now many just spin wheels.

With people going nowhere,
all stay stuck snared.
Waking up is hard,
with consciousness impaired.

But when minds don’t return,
whole civilizations burn.
The third eye must spread light,

And all good men must not sleep but fight.
